Join 1L Kristen Franco for a lesson on how to make baked ziti. This recipe is super simple and can be made with ingredients already in your pantry and refrigerator. No need to stress about having fresh ingredients or every single item on the list — it will taste good not matter what you add in!

Ingredients:
(1) 1 lb. box of pasta (ziti, penne, or whatever you’ve got on hand)
(1) yellow, sweet, or white onion
(1) 4 oz. can of mushrooms (or fresh)
(1) 14 oz. can of tomatoes
(1) 32 oz. can of pasta sauce
(1) 8 oz. mozzarella cheese (block, or shredded)
(1) 8 oz. Parmesan cheese (block or shredded)
-salt
-sugar
-garlic (fresh, jar, or powder)
-basil, oregano, parsley (dried is fine)
-olive oil
Supplies:
(1) 6 quart pasta pot
(1) 3-4 quart sauce pot
(1) 8-1/2” x 11” baking dish
-knife and cutting board
-cooking spoon
-pasta strainer and cheese grater
