Web Application Development and Support

About Us and What We Do

The Pritzker School of Law Web Application Development team develops custom software applications and databases specifically for the Law School community and supports external, commercial tools used by the community on the web. Our goal in providing these services is to ensure the Law School operates efficiently and to move data effortlessly across disparate computer systems and databases.

In addition to applications that we build specifically for the Law School, we support third party tools used at the School, including:

  • EMS (calendars and scheduling)
  • SeatGen (classroom/auditorium seating charts)
  • WordPress (blogs, including the Law School Journals)
  • PowerBI and Tableau (data visualization and analytics)
  • Qualtrics (surveys)
  • and assorted others

Law Website

The content and informational pages of the Pritzker Law School Website are maintained by the Web Communications department. Please visit the Web Communications team page for more information.

Surveys

The Web Applications Team can help you with your survey, registration, and RSVP form needs.  The Northwestern University system survey tool of choice is Qualtrics.  In addition to being one of the top survey tools on the market, Qualtrics is free to use for the Northwestern community.

The Team is not only able to help you build your own surveys in Qualtrics; they can also help you manage and build meaningful insights from the data gathered from your surveys.  Please see the Surveys page for further information.

E-Commerce/Event payment

Law school groups who wish to accept credit card payments online for events or services should see the e-commerce page for further information.
