• For the opinions from the courts in different states, the West regional reporters are the Bluebook-recommended citation sources. These regional reporters may be found in the REP section (3rd floor Rubloff).

  If you are unsure which reporter to use for a particular state's decisions, please consult the list below:

  Atlantic Reporter {A., A.2d}: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, District of Columbia.

  North Eastern Reporter {N.E., N.E.2d}: Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio.

  North Western Reporter {N.W., N.W.2d}: Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin.

  Pacific Reporter {P., P.2d, P.3d}: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming.

  South Eastern Reporter {S.E., S.E.2d}: Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia.

• LexisNexis provides access to the decisions of state or territorial courts in each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
• LexisNexis (COURTS) also provides simultaneous searching of decisions from all state courts.
• Westlaw: State Case Law (ALLSTATES) provides access to the combined state case law of all 50 states and the District of Columbia, 1658 to present. The (ALLSTATES-OLD) database provides access to the combined state case law of all states, before 1945. For cases from individual states, see the (XX-CS) database, where "XX" is the two-letter code for the state.
• Cornell's Legal Information Institute. Provides access to recent state court opinions which are freely available via the Internet. Coverage varies by state.
• FindLaw: State Resources. Provides access to recent state court opinions which are freely available via the Internet. Coverage varies by state.
• LexisONE. A free site for searching for opinions issued by the U.S. Supreme Court (1790 to present), U.S. Circuit Courts (1997 to present), and numerous state appellate courts (1997 to present). Searches are free, but you are required to register in order to use the service.
• U.S. States and Territories. From the Law Library of Congress. A free site providing links to constitutions, statutes, cases, regulations, and other information from each of the 50 states.
