U.S. Code

United States Code {U.S.C.}. The official, government-published version of the Code. Published every 6 years. The current Code is also available online via FDsys, via Cornell's Legal Information Institute, and via FindLaw.
United States Code Annotated {U.S.C.A.}. West's annotated version of the Code, which is more up-to-date than the official version. It also contains digests of cases interpreting the statutes as well as legislative history notes to help the researcher.
The current USCA (USCA) and historical versions going back to 1990 (USCAxx, where 'xx' represents the last two digits of the year) are available through Westlaw (USCA).
