MacArthur Justice Center's Margulies Describes Guantanamo Tactics on NPR's "This American Life"
Joseph Margulies, who represents some of the detainees being held at Guantanamo Bay, was featured on an episode of NPR's "This American Life" last March, which explored the right of Habeas Corpus. Margulies and others on the program explained how detainees are treated at Guantanamo Bay in order to coerce cooperation and how those imprisoned at the facility do not, in practice, enjoy the right to a fair trial.
