Margulies' Guantanamo Book Named Best of 2006 by The Economist

Guantanamo and the Abuse of Presidential Power, written by MacArthur Justice Center Attorney Joseph Margulies, was named one of the best books of the year by The Economist magazine. The December issue of The Economist hails the book as “A sober, and sobering, look at the policies and practices that have led to the internment of hundreds of men at Guantánamo Bay, without legal rights, and subject to degrading interrogations.”
