Knicks Remove the Interim Tag From General Manager Glen Grunwald

Glen Grunwald was promoted to executive vice president and general manager of the New York Knicks today after spending the season as the interim general manager of the National Basketball Association team.
Grunwald, 53, who was general manager of the Toronto Raptors from 1998 to 2004, joined the Knicks in 2006. Grunwald, a graduate of Northwestern University Law School who later got his Master’s in Business Administration from Indiana University, worked as general counsel for theDenver Nuggets before joining the Raptors.
“Glen has done a terrific job this season,” Knicks owner James Dolan said in a statement released by the team. “He is an intelligent, seasoned executive and we look forward to him continuing in the role of general manager for many years to come.”
