Northwestern Law Welcomes International LLM/Kellogg Students

June 15, 2009

LLM/K Students at Northwestern Law

On June 15, Northwestern Law welcomes 22 accomplished attorneys from around the world as the Graduate Program in Law and Business (LLM/Kellogg) Class of 2010. Members of this class bring professional and cultural perspectives from a number of countries, including Brazil, Columbia, China, Italy, Japan, Taiwan, Dominican Republic, India, Portugal, and Mexico.

Students enrolled in the LLM/Kellogg program are experienced international corporate lawyers. This year's incoming class averages six years of work experience. Some of our LLM/Kellogg students have been in-house lawyers, associates in large law firms; others have worked for banks, government agencies, and large corporations.

Designed for lawyers educated outside the United States, the 12-month LLM/Kellogg program offers students an opportunity to study both business law and management techniques at two of America's leading schools in the fields of law and business—Northwestern Law and the Kellogg School of Management. Graduates of the program are awarded a master of laws (LLM) from the Law School and a certificate in business administration from Kellogg.
