4/22/05 And the Winners Are...
Congratulations to the following faculty recipients of the 2004-05 student-voted teaching awards. These awards will be presented to recipients at the graduation ceremony at the Chicago Theatre on Sunday, May 15. At that time, the Wigmore Key will also be presented to the third-year student who has done the most to preserve the traditions of Northwestern Law.
Robert Childres Memorial Award for Teaching Excellence: Jim
Speta
Established in memory of professor Robert Childres, a great law teacher, 1934-76,
the Childres Award is presented annually to the faculty member selected by
the student body as the year's most outstanding teacher. Jim also received

Outstanding First-year Course Professor Award: Martin
Redish
The recipient of this award is selected each spring by first-year students
to honor the teaching excellence of a faculty member who teaches a first-year
mandatory course. This is the first time Marty has received this award. To

Outstanding Professor of a Small Class Award: Kimberly
Yuracko
The recipient of this award is selected each spring by second-year, third-year,
and LLM students to honor the teaching excellence in classes of limited size.

Outstanding Adjunct Professor Award: Howard
Nagelberg
The recipient of this award is selected each spring by second-year, third-year,
and LLM students to honor the teaching excellence of adjunct faculty members.
