In addition to panels on corporate governance, ethics, and options in a limited credit environment, participants also enjoyed a question and answer session with SEC Commissioner Elisse Walter and breakfast roundtables focusing on timely industry topics. This year's Institute was held at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins at the top of Nob Hill in the heart of San Francisco. Attorneys from across the country gathered to discuss the impact of the current financial crisis on today's corporate counsel. Highlights included sessions on social responsibility, ethics, and SEC developments affecting corporations. Participants also enjoyed a keynote address from SEC Regional Director Marc Fagel.
