The Organization and the Mission

 Mission

            STMS is Northwestern Law’s Catholic organization that aims to foster community and service among Northwestern law students.

The Reality 

  • We gather at meetings and attend and host Masses such as the Red Mass, the annual Mass honoring the opening of the courts in the fall; 

  • We sponsor speakers on topics such as faith the legal profession and Catholic legal scholarship; 

  • We engage in service projects, such as Spring and Fall
    Clothing Drives and opportunities to volunteer at soup kitchens and legal aid societies.

  • We work with the Evanston Campus’s Sheil Catholic Center and our Chicago Campus Campus Minister, John DiMucci, to make our faith stronger.

Sheil Catholic Center
