The Women's Leadership Coalition partnered with 2nd and 3rd year law students as well as female attorney mentors at Kirkland and Ellis' Chicago office for events throughout the year. The kick-off event was a meet-and-greet for first year students to get to know their upper-class mentors and get a taste of Chicago nightlife. Kirkland and Ellis hosted the WLC for an evening of networking in the winter. An Ann Taylor fashion show and wardrobing session marked the spring. In addition to official events, individual law students met with their mentors throughout the year.

In February 2007, Locke Lord Bissel & Liddell hosted members of the WLC for a reception and panel discussion entitled Same Women, Many Hats: Flexible Work Arrangements in Large Law firms. The event was a huge success and offered WLC members an opportunity to practice their networking skills and hear from an array of accomplished female attorneys at all levels.

Women's Symposium
Every year, the Women's Leadership Coalition presents a week of presentations aimed at enriching, informing, and questioning the role of women in the legal profession. WLC encourages all students to attend these sessions.
