Last weekend, Northwestern Pritzker School of Law's Vis Moot team was honored by being ranked third of all teams competing in the Panamerican University Guadalajara International Arbitration Pre-moot in Mexico. Team members James Coleman (JD '18), Santiago Rodriguez Senior (LLM '16), Haley Wasserman (JD '17), and Xiaoyan Xiang (LLM '16) successfully made oral presentations and answered questions about complex issues in international arbitration and the international sale of goods before panels of distinguished scholars and arbitrators from all over the world.

Hundreds of students and arbitration professionals participated in the Pre-moot and an accompanying conference, which serve as preparation for the Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot, at which the Northwestern Law team will compete in March in Vienna, Austria.

The Northwestern team is coached by local practitioner Jay Schleppenbach and advised by Director of International Programs Adi Altshuler.
