Natural Resources

Natural resources are coming under increasing strain. Why? What can be done? We examine the legal structures and policy debates surrounding such hot-button issues as endangered species, protected lands, and water rights. We will explore the role of federal constitutional and statutory law, as well as state common law, in shaping the protection and exploitation of the natural world.
