A lawyer's habits, whether for the better or for the worse, are often established within their 1L year. Most law students understandably default into haphazardly attempting their readings and assignments as they come, as if they are chasing one fire after another until they run out of time. While this approach does not necessarily result in catastrophe, it does often produce higher levels of stress, feelings of overwhelm, the sense of a lack of control, and unsustainable habits that carry heavy consequences once practicing law. Participants in this program will learn: • The typical high-achieving law student habit pitfalls to avoid, • What being intentional as a law student means in practice, • How shifting from an external to an internal locus of control is critical for a law student's mental and academic well-being, and Psychology-based skills for taking a proactive role in your own law school career. Lunch will be provided to all who RSVP and attend the program. To RSVP visit: <https://forms.gle/YmviBvaGg2B1WRTKA> .
