Biography
Xiao Wang is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and the Director of the school’s Appellate Advocacy Center. Prior to joining Northwestern, Xiao served as lead counsel in a number of appellate matters, primarily in the areas of criminal sentencing, qualified immunity, and immigration. As part of his immigration work, Xiao represented Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch before the U.S. Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit. His principal research areas are federal courts and constitutional law.
