Omar Saunders

Omar Saunders was convicted based on false confessions of two co-defendants

Omar Saunders, 18, was one of four men wrongfully convicted of the 1986 rape and murder of medical student Lori Roscetti in Chicago. Two co-defendants, Marcellius Bradford, 17, and Larry Ollins, 16, falsely confessed to the crime, implicating Saunders and Ollins's 14-year-old cousin, Calvin Ollins. All were exonerated by DNA in 2001.
