About Us

The Center for Externships is housed within Northwestern Pritzker School of Law's Bluhm Legal Clinic, aligning with the clinic's mission to provide comprehensive hands-on learning opportunities to law students. Through externship placements, students gain real-life legal experience in judicial chambers, government agencies, corporations, non-profit legal organizations and start-ups while simultaneously reflecting on their work and experiences in a seminar taught by residential and adjunct faculty.
