David Scheffer, Mayer Brown/Robert A. Helman Professor of Law, Director of the Center for International Human Rights
In addition to his role as Director for the Center for International Human Rights, former U.S. Ambassador at Large for War Crimes Issues David Scheffer holds an endowed professorship, teaching International Human Rights Law and International Criminal Law. He supervises the International Externships Program and received the Dean's Teaching Award 2008. Scheffer currently serves as the U.N. Secretary-General's Special Expert on United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Trials. He was selected by Foreign Policy Magazine as one of the "Top Global Thinkers of 2011."
