Regulatory Strategy & Communication

The Regulatory Communications and Strategy class will examine the legal and business aspects of understanding and complying with regulations, communicating with regulators, communicating with internal and external audiences concerning regulatory activities, developing regulatory goals and strategies, and understanding and developing strategies for addressing regulatory failures. The course will use a combination of lecture and case study approaches with students reviewing and analyzing recent instances of regulatory successes and failures, including regulatory aspects of product development, introduction and marketing, and communications strategies for all stages of the regulatory process.
