Contract Law & Design

In this course, students learn the basic features of a contract. How is a contract formed? How are terms of a contract interpreted? When must a contract be in writing? What constitutes a "breach" of a contract? When is someone excused from a contract obligation because of events not within the control of the parties? What are the remedies for a breached contract? The course is blended - that is, there will be online content that supplements the in-class experience.
