Course Details

Health Law

This course provides an introduction to health care law and policy in the United States. Topics to be addressed include health care reform, financing and delivery; the provider patient relationship, medical malpractice, and the regulation of health care facilities, along with select topics in bioethics and public health law. Students will be evaluated based on a final exam. There are no prerequisites for this course.
