Civil Procedure II

This litigation-oriented course focuses on the right to a civil jury trial, the place of the jury in the civil justice system, and the procedural law controlling the trial and post-trial practice. The course covers the Seventh Amendment right to jury trial, judicial control of the jury, post-trial practice, appeal ability, claim preclusion (res judicata), issue preclusion (collateral estoppel) and other topics. Evaluation: Final Examination. Teaching method: Lecture Prerequisites: Civil Procedure is a pre-requisite.
