Our clinic is made up for staff members, local attorneys, and Northwestern
Law students who work primarily on cases involving juvenile delinquency,
expulsions from Chicago Public Schools, expunging of juvenile records,
immigration for children under 18 years old, and the death penalty.
We use both individual and systemic criteria in selecting the cases
we take. Our clients are generally from low-income households in the
Chicago metropolitan area. Specific geographical and income restrictions
depend on the type of case. Our fees may be based on the client's ability
to pay.
