Kim A. Kamin
Kim Kamin is a Principal at Gresham Partners, LLC, serving as Chief Wealth Strategist and a Client Advisor. She previously was a partner at Schiff Hardin LLP, where she spent seventeen years practicing law in their Private Clients, Trusts and Estates Department. She has extensive experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and related dispute resolution. She is a frequent lecturer and has published on topics relating to asset protection, estate administration, powers of appointment, funding with fractional interest discounts, and fiduciary duties.
Ms. Kamin is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, where she chairs the New Fellows Steering Committee. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Estate Planning Council, on the Chicago Community Trust Professional Advisory Council, the Art Institute of Chicago Gift Planning Advisory Committee, the Northwestern Memorial Foundation Council for Philanthropy, and the Chicago Stanford Association’s Board of Leaders.

Ms. Kamin received her JD from the University of Chicago Law School. She has taught Estate Planning, and Income Taxation of Trusts and Estates for our LLM in tax program, and the Advanced Trusts and Estates seminar for the Law School.
