Shelley Murphy is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School and former clerk to Judge Richard Posner on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Her research focuses on civil procedure and judicial politics, and she is scheduled to complete a PhD from the University of Colorado–Boulder in late 2010.
