Hon. William A. Fletcher, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, will visit Northwestern Law January 21-23, 2009, as the Howard J. Trienens Visiting Judicial Scholar. During his visit, Fletcher will deliver a speech entitled “Human Rights in the United States and the World,” as well as guest teach a few classes and meet with groups of students and faculty. The Howard J. Trienens Visiting Scholar Program was established in 1989 by partners of Sidley Austin to honor Trienens' service to the firm and to Northwestern.
