Construction updates

We hope that you all have enjoyed the holiday season, and want to welcome back all who have been away from the Law School over Winter Break. Construction has continued in earnest. Following are some of the changes you will notice on your return:
The Atrium has been fully re-opened. The gigantic temporary wall has been dismantled and removed, and a full complement of seating has been placed: booths, study tables and soft-seating.
The corridor which connects the McCormick lobby and the Atrium has also re-opened. It is no longer necessary to travel a circuitous route to gain access to those spaces.
Work in the mechanical penthouse on the roof of McCormick is nearing completion. Within the next few weeks, conditioned air will be delivered to the Atrium (something that was never possible before). Any heating/cooling problems which occurred in other areas of the Law School as a result of this aspect of the construction project will also be alleviated.
