Cross-Border Transactions

This course will examine issues that arise when commercial transactions cross national borders. Subjects that will be explored include: the political, legal and cultural frameworks of jurisdictions outside of the United States; points of entry for investors and businesses; due diligence, negotiation and deal documentation challenges; competition filings, approvals and related considerations; international disputes and resolution mechanisms; and anticorruption laws and enforcement.
