Business and Human Rights
This course explores the human rights responsibilities of businesses in the global economy. While soft law norms and hard law standards have emerged internationally and domestically, corporate performance in labor, environmental, and human rights remains inconsistent. Students will examine key legal frameworks, analyze enforcement outcomes, and consider the future of this evolving field of law and practice.
