Quantitative Reasoning in the Law
This course introduces students to numerical ideas and techniques that have relevance for courtroom decision making. The ideal student for this class is one who does not have a strong background in math or statistics, but who wishes to understand what every 21st century lawyer should know about quantitative evidence. Quantitative techniques as applied to discrimination, trademark, forensics, medical malpractice, and toxic torts will be covered.
