Child Exploitation and Trafficking
Taught by Virginia Kendall, the Chief Judge of the Northern District of Illinois, this course examines the complex challenge of human trafficking. Moving beyond a prosecution-centered lens to offer a holistic, interdisciplinary examination that explores the convergence of international law, immigration and migration law, criminal justice, social services, and victims’ rights to uncover how legal systems, both domestic and global, have responded to the shifting nature of exploitation.
