Energy Law and Policy

This is a survey law class on Energy Law. The class will cover the legal, regulatory and policy frameworks governing energy production, transmission and use in the United States. The course will include energy economics, public utility regulation, ratemaking and pricing, energy type-specific regulation, regulation of electricity, alternative and clean energy sources, the interplay between energy and environmental policies and international energy issues.
