International Litigation

This seminar will explore international civil litigation in U.S. courts. We will consider the various procedural issues that arise when courts are presented with foreign parties, foreign conduct, foreign evidence, and foreign states, and the various international and domestic legal sources that govern these subjects. Topics will include jurisdiction, forum & venue, choice of law, foreign judgments, and foreign states.
