Legal Technology
Under the ABA's Model Rules of Professional Conduct, attorneys are required to "keep abreast of changes in the law and its practice, including the benefits and risks associated with relevant technology." In this course, technology for law practice will be examined, with topics including, but not limited to, cloud computing, information security, analytics, AI, eDiscovery, and access to justice. Evaluation will be based primarily on a final, student-selected technology project or paper.
