Advanced Evidence

This course simulates a pre-trial or a mid-trial proceeding in a simulated pending case to deal with evidentiary issues with students representing the opposing parties. Students will have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the rules of evidence in the context of the simulated civil or criminal case. The course will simulate students’ representation of a “client” requiring them to engage in legal analysis and reasoning, legal research, and written and oral advocacy before a court.
