Course Details
Investment Management Law
The seminar will focus on cases arising from claims surrounding breach of fiduciary obligation in the investment context both under ERISA and under state law of trusts. Emphasis will be on recent developments, but the first part of the course will discuss the historic antecedents of modern law. At least two weeks will involve reading the record of a case, including a complaint and depositions, and assessing it.
