Law and the Creative Industries
Law and the Creative Industries is a seminar in which students will read scholarly and other texts about how law affects music, movies, TV, book publishing, video games, and other creative industries. Students will write a term paper on a topic relevant to an industry of their own choosing. There are no prerequisites, but courses like Copyright, Intellectual Property, First Amendment, Communications Law, and Media and Entertainment Law could be helpful.
