Contemporary Problems in Complex Litigation
This course focuses on mass torts, civil rights cases and other complex matters that receive intensive judicial management as class actions or MDLs. This course will provide an insight into the nature of broad, societally important litigation and both the difficult decisions that litigants and judges must make and the impact that those decisions have on the judiciary, the litigants, and the broader society in which our judicial system exists.
