Course Details
International Environmental Law
We examine how international environmental problems can be addressed within a legal framework where state actors reign supreme. We discuss the relationship between human rights and the environment and focus on climate change, ozone depletion, transboundary air pollution, loss of biodiversity, and over-fishing. The relationship between trade, development, and environmental protection will receive particular attention throughout the seminar.
