Natalie A. Bautista

Natalie is the career adviser for international LLM students. Prior to joining Northwestern Law, Natalie worked at Santa Clara University School of Law as an Assistant Director of Graduate Employment and as a Lecturer in Law for the Civil Practice High Tech and Social Justice Externship Seminar course. Natalie practiced law for over seven years, specializing in employment-based immigration. She has practiced both in San Francisco and Chicago. Natalie received her JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law and her BA in International Relations from James Madison College at Michigan State University.

Pascale J. Bishop

Pascale has seven years of experience in law career services and five years of experience in the practice of law. Prior to joining Northwestern University School of Law, Pascale served as the Assistant Dean of Career Development at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Director of Career Services at Chicago-Kent College of Law and Associate Director of Career Services at The John Marshall Law School. Before entering the career services arena, she practiced in the areas of litigation and international trade at both the Chicago and Washington, D.C. offices of McDermott Will & Emery and at Barnes & Thornburg, Chicago. She also previously served as Director of Legal Recruiting for the legal search company, Mestel and Company. Pascale graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, and cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School.

Meghan Bradley

Meghan earned her B.A. from Michigan State University with a double major in Comparative Cultures and Politics and International Relations. During her time at MSU, she worked in the Office for International Students and Scholars as a Front Desk Receptionist and Student Intern for two years. Meghan currently serves as Program Assistant in the Center for Career Strategy.

Janet Siegel Brown

Janet Siegel Brown received her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2001, M.S. in Management from the New York University Graduate School of Public Service in 2005, and B.A. from Tufts University in 1992. She joined the law school as Lecturer and Director of Judicial Clerkships in 2014. Prior to that, she clerked in the staff attorney’s office of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and for the Honorable Sheila Finnegan in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, as well as practicing law at a large law firm and in state and local government in Chicago and New York.

Dave received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1995, M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University in 2003, and B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Iowa in 1992 Before to joining the Career Strategy Center in 2006, Dave was the Director in the Career Services Office at The John Marshall Law School and a career counselor at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. He also worked as a transactional attorney in Chicago for six years and gained public sector work experience while in law school. Outside of the office, Dave sat on the Public Interest Law Initiative Board of Directors for nine years and is an active member of NALP, including previously serving as the organization's Vice-President of Finance.

Khanisha Hobson-Mackie

Khanisha currently serves as the office manager at the Career Strategy Center. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Bennett College in Greensboro, NC. Prior to joining the Center, she served in the area of higher education administration. She gained experience working in the financial aid office at Bennett College and additionally at Wilbur Wright College.

Michelle Jackson

As Director of Alumni Advising, Michelle provides career counseling to alumni at all stages of their careers through the design, execution, and maintenance of lifelong career-related services and resources. Prior to joining the Career Strategy Center, Michelle was the Director of Diversity Education & Outreach here at Northwestern Law. Formerly, she served as Executive Assistant to the Chancellor, Title IX Coordinator, Disability Coordinator, and Adjunct Professor at Southern University Law Center (SULC) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Before joining the Chancellor’s executive staff, Michelle spent eight years as the Director of Career Services at SULC. Prior to her career in higher education, Michelle practiced law at the boutique real estate tax firm of Worsek & Vihon LLP, the Cook County Assessor’s Office, and the Chicago office Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. She received her B.A., with distinction, from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.

Sandra Minea

Sandy earned her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from University of Illinois. Prior to joining the Career Strategy Center, she was the Director of Career Services and Recruitment Programs at Chicago-Kent College of Law. Sandy also practiced corporate and finance law in Chicago at both Mayer Brown and Horwood Marcus and Berk. Sandy is a member of the Illinois Bar, and she is an active member of NALP, currently serving as a representative from the Midwest on NALP’s Regional Resource Council.

Puja Singh Patel

Puja joins the Career Strategy Center after having worked as an Assistant Attorney General at the Illinois Attorney General's Office. Prior to joining the Attorney General's Office, Puja was an Associate at Franczek Radelet P.C. practicing education and employment law. Puja received her J.D. from Northwestern School of Law in 2006 and her BA in Environmental Science from Duke University in 2001.

He has returned to the Career Strategy Center after previously working as the Program Assistant for the office, as well as a Legal Recruiting Coordinator for McDermott Will & Emery and Administrative Support Specialist at the University of Chicago Law School.

Katie Shelton

Katie received her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 2007, and her B.S. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2002. Before joining the Law School, Katie worked for eight years as a legal aid attorney at LAF (formerly the Legal Assistance Foundation) in Chicago, where she was most recently a supervisor in the area of Public Benefits law.
