Northwestern MiM-JD Program

The Northwestern MiM-JD Program is a dual degree program open exclusively to Northwestern undergraduates and provides a coordinated path through the Kellogg School of Management’s Master in Management (MiM) and Northwestern Pritzker Law’s JD program. Students are not required to complete the LSAT, GRE, or GMAT for admission, providing a streamlined and accelerated path to becoming lawyers with advanced business acumen. As legal and business challenges increasingly intersect, the program prepares students to meet that need from day one of their careers.

An Interdisciplinary Opportunity for Northwestern University Undergraduates

The program provides an opportunity for high-performing Northwestern University undergraduate students to enter graduate study in business and law. It is an ideal fit for students interested in interdisciplinary training in these fields.

Northwestern Pritzker Law expects successful applicants to demonstrate academic performance at least at or near the median academic profile of recent entering JD classes. Per ABA rules, students must have above a 3.5 undergraduate GPA and have scored in the top 85th percentile on the ACT or SAT.

Kellogg expects successful applicants to demonstrate strong academic performance; quantitative preparation, generally demonstrated through undergraduate coursework; meaningful work experience, preferably including multiple internships; and qualifications typically associated with successful MiM applicants.

Program Structure

Eligible students apply during their junior or senior year and complete the MiM after graduating from Northwestern. After the MiM program, they will complete a summer internship before matriculating at Northwestern Pritzker Law to begin their JD degree.
