Kellogg-Northwestern Pritzker Law LLM-MiM Program

The Kellogg-Northwestern Pritzker Law LLM-MiM Program provides an opportunity for students to not only expand their knowledge of law and legal processes but also to gain solid training in business and management, as well as the intersections between these two fields. It is a two-year dual degree offering that allows Northwestern Pritzker Law LLM students, who already hold a first degree in law from a university outside the United States, to also complete a MiM from the Kellogg School of Management during their time at Northwestern. The MiM will be completed at Kellogg in the first year, followed by completion of the LLM in year two.

The nine-month general LLM program offers outstanding graduates of foreign law schools an opportunity to expand their knowledge of American law and legal processes, continue their studies in international law, and engage in comparative legal research. Kellogg's Master in Management (MiM) is a 10-month, full-time program that gives recent college graduates from non-business backgrounds — STEM, economics, the liberal arts — a rigorous foundation in leadership, communication, and core business skills, taught by Kellogg's faculty.

Requirements

Work Experience

Applicants must have 0-2 years of post-graduate, full-time work experience at the time of application. This requirement is strictly enforced, and no exceptions can be made.

Two Applications

To be considered for admission to the dual degree program, applicants must submit both the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law General LLM application and the Kellogg Master in Management (MiM) application. Applications are reviewed jointly by the admissions teams at both schools.

Application Deadlines

Candidates must apply to the LLM-MiM Program during the first or second round of consideration. The deadline to apply to the LLM Program is January 15, 2027.

GMAT

A valid GMAT score is required as part of the application process.

Program Structure

Students begin the program at Kellogg School of Management, completing the MiM curriculum during the first year. The second year is completed at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in the LLM program. Degrees are awarded only after all requirements for both programs have been successfully completed.

Scholarship decisions are made independently by each school. Awards from one program do not guarantee funding from the other.
