Ann works with ultra high net worth clients of UBS to help coordinate their investment, estate planning and philanthropic goals. Ann focuses on developing and implementing creative and comprehensive strategies to assist clients with their complex financial needs such as preservation, transfer and management of wealth. She also reviews clients’ estate planning documents to help ensure that the plan accurately reflects the family’s philosophy, needs and objectives.
Prior to joining UBS in 2008, Ann practiced law with the law firms of Winston & Strawn LLP and Levin, Schreder & Carey, focusing on estate tax and income tax planning for ultra high net worth individuals, families and business owners. She also worked in the Office of Gift Planning at the University of Chicago.
Ann received a B.A. from University of Michigan and her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she was a Managing Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review.
Ann is a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council, the Professional Advisors Committee of the Chicago Community Trust and the Professional Board of PAWS and is a past co-chair of the Chicago Bar Association Committee on Estate and Gift Tax.
