Biography
Danielle Hamilton joined Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2023 as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Law and Director of the Carter G. Phillips Center for Supreme Court and Appellate Advocacy. Before Northwestern, Professor Hamilton worked at plaintiffs' side civil rights law firms in Chicago and New York City, representing clients in a wide range of cases including excessive force, protestors of police brutality, sexual assault by law enforcement, and wrongful convictions. She also worked on juvenile legal system reform at the Illinois Justice Project and clerked for Judge Barrington D. Parker, Jr. on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York.
