Jeff Ng

Visiting Associate Professor of Law

Biography

Professor Ng is a visiting professor at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. He earned his PhD and MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master's in Accountancy at DePaul University, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Professor Ng is an award-winning teacher and researcher in the field of accounting. His research covers broad areas such as financial accounting, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), executive compensation and tax accounting, and has been featured in prestigious academic journals including The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, and the Journal of International Business Studies. Outside of academia, Professor Ng has worked wit​h ​various stakeholders, including adapting an accounting textbook for the international market, assisting a start-up with corporate formation and governance, and providing tax preparation and consultation services.
