Leah Whitesel
Student Services Librarian
Biography
Leah joined Northwestern in 2023 as Student Services Librarian at the Pritzker Legal Research Center. In this role, they provide instruction on legal research skills, support student-edited journals and moot court teams, and serve as library liaison to student organizations and student-facing law school departments. Prior to coming to Northwestern, Leah taught civics and law in Chicago Public Schools. Leah holds a BA in politics and women’s studies from Oberlin College, a JD from Northeastern University School of Law, a M.Ed from Loyola University Chicago, and an MLIS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. They are a member of the Chicago Association of Law Libraries.
