Biography

Michael Schill is President Emeritus of Northwestern University and a member of the faculties of the Pritzker School of Law and the Kellogg School of Management. 

Prior to joining Northwestern, Professor Schill was President of the University of Oregon from 2015 to 2022, Dean of the University of Chicago Law School from 2009-2015, and Dean of the UCLA School of Law from 2004-2009. He has also served as the Wilf Family Professor of Property Law at NYU School of Law and Professor of Urban Planning  at the NYU Wagner School and Professor of Law and Real Estate at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and the Wharton School.
