M. Kristina DeGuzman
Research & Digital Resources Librarian
Biography
Kristina joined Northwestern in 2024 as Research and Digital Resources Librarian at the Pritzker Legal Research Center. In this role, she supports student and faculty access to PLRC’s electronic databases and research services and serves as a point-of-contact to electronic resource vendors. Prior to coming to Northwestern, Kristina worked as a research librarian at the Chicago office of Jenner & Block, LLP, and before beginning her career as a law librarian worked in immigration law at the Department of Homeland Security. Kristina holds a BA in political science from Northwestern, a JD and MA in international relations from the University of Southern California, and an MS in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Association of Law Libraries. and the Chicago Association of Law Libraries.
