Biography

Sarah Dorman is a Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor of Law with the Center for International Human Rights in Northwestern’s Bluhm Legal Clinic.

Throughout her career, Sarah has collaborated with numerous communities and non-profit organizations in defense of human rights and the environment, including in North Africa, sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and the United States. She has appeared before the United Nations Human Rights Council, the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, and the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights, among other international and regional bodies. Her professional and research interests include access to health, business and human rights, environmental democracy, Indigenous peoples’ rights, and transitional justice.
